It's April 20th, 2024...
What a silly three months. I was caught up in obligations that would otherwise be of a lesser-issue, such as the day-to-day- routine, but I figure with the sun present there's always that repeat feeling of acceleration and urgency.

This collection of works are fundamentally quiet, in this respect, although it could be worth noting that my obligations involve working at nighttime, almost exclusively. To that end I hope you enjoy viewing these unique collections of color, each one I would say a determinant asset to procuring the identity of Jaybob Doodles, as a whole. It's not likely the exercises I present to you will by any means be consistent in future reports, but you can bet their presence is without-neglect and they all have a fun part to play. Thank you for being part of this one! - Jacob Arasim, April 2024

The Concept Art
Hello! Here are some cool, unique works of art, feathered with an apparent need for Space. I focused on some pretty basic concepts, nothing too complex, and certainly nothing for the business books. It's be a relatively slow, relaxing season.

Some of my original Characters make a noteworthy performance, as I've pursued a certain style by which they ought to appear. Line strokes, color palettes, expression, presentation. In addition to these personalities, I've continued to create Drama Queen Comics and explored Plein Air angles

Without Rendered Sketches and Fan Art, however, there'd be zero quality to the former. Overall, I think I'm easing into a fair position as an Illustrator. I can talk about my skills like keeping my colors in-between the lines.

Keep an eye out for special appearances by, Emma Stone, Brandi Carlile, Nico, and reporter Ellen Meny, as we traverse notable locations, such as Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe and Mango Sorbet Ln.

The Graphic Design

Thumbnail design is high in the market, and I'd like to make myself more available. It would also seem evident, respectfully, my continued use for such social media apps, like Instagram, one has to wonder whether the next few choices in canvas sizing does it seem a matching pair for a device useful in the presentation of my craft. It's just easier, overall, and I happened to revise my logo in the process. They especially make great exercises for digital projects, or small intervals of rendering. Promo pursuits were flakey, for I did not get around to many extraneous projects, despite briefing myself on Craigslist every few weeks. This availed my time to other personal factions, such as writing and planning for the summer quarter. My goal is to produce more work for brands and events alike.
I attended one art show, where I performed caricature art for dogs. It was super fun, a fever dream, to say the least. If you ever find yourself in the Ballard region of Seattle, one is lucky enough to bring their dog with them to their next favorite spot, to play fetch, meet new puppy friends, and lounge back awhile.

The Sketchbook
I'm romantic with the notion my skills not only improve, but continue to teach me the lessons I've learned along the way. I would hope other artists keep their sketches, because they're proof that you need to take a break.
See you in Summer 2024!
