Landscapes: Vol. 2
The Summer of 2023 was ripe with fascinating tribulations and funny stories. I have learned deeply the simplicity of "less is more," and that I am capable in working well with others (especially folks who are as passionate for the arts as I am).
These works of art (right) identify the strengths of my storytelling skills and my willingness to pursue a student-teacher attitude to just about any stroke I apply.
Stay tuned for more fun! In the meantime, do please consider visiting my #Behance handle to explore asset viewership options.

Landscapes: Vol 1
I took an Environment Concept Art course and I learned a deep curve about simplifying shapes, pursuing values before colors, and organizing layers.
Many of these prompts are inspired by narrative video games, concept art, and graphic novel covers:
- Hudson River Project
- Game Arena
- Cinematic Narrative
- Plein Air/Google Maps
(More volumes will follow suit, as this one is exclusively in the bounds of my attendance at LWTech, wherein I've recently graduated, as a certificate holder in Illustration with High Honors.)

"Holly Ransfield":
A Closer Look
Recently, I was tasked to explore a single character in a variety of outfits. The prompt was "Time Traveler", and all are as follows:
- Default Pose (180 degrees)
- Adventures in 1984
- Modern Barista
- Adventures in 1884
- Pirate's Life
- Contemporary Yoga Instructor

For my upcoming graphic novel, "Father Moose," Holly takes center hold as the main protagonist and is a significant source to the following characters.

"RPG Madness"
I wanted to give my childhood characters a makeover when I was tasked to design four characters, also of which were to be used to study shapes, silhouettes, and proportions.
This project was just the punching bag I needed to enrich these characters through fun colors, memorable gestures, and unforgettable facial expressions. I exfoliated their adventures by focusing on textures, colors, personality traits, and places of origin.
(Please feel free to check out the full-sized PDF, detailing the dozens of hours invested in this project!)

To your right is a project, called "My Three Robots," developed in correspondence with Lake Washington Institute Technology as an eager student.
I was tasked to develop a comprehensive lineup of a Cute Bot, a Combat Bot, and an Alien Bot.
For me, this was a lifesaver of an exercise to fully ease into my own routine of managing projects. The truest challenge was facilitating proportions, and, needless to say, I still have so much to learn.
